Sunchang Fermented Soybean Eel Soup (Meju Jang-eo) 300g
This eel soup uses eel raised at Jeon-i Fish Farm in the clean Seomjin River area of Sunchang, fed with herbal fermented soybean (meju). It is produced under consignment by the Namwon Loach Soup Cooperative.
Made with Korean native freshwater eel (Japonica species). Prepared using live, fresh eel, resulting in a clean, savory flavor with minimal fishy smell.
Uses traditional Korean doenjang (fermented soybean paste). Made in Sunchang, the home of Korean sauces, using 100% Korean soybeans for deep and rich flavor.
Made with carefully selected Korean ingredients such as radish greens (siraegi), eel, and various seasonings, ensuring safe consumption.
Small-batch production using traditional direct fire method — cooked in iron cauldrons over open flame for a deeper, richer taste.
